Abstract:

Ashok will give an overview of the dopamine reward prediction error (RPE) hypothesis, including computational models and experimental tests. Then Rui will describe work from his group and others on dopamine responses related to action initiation, salience, and other variables. We will then discuss ways to reconcile these observations.
